You are welcome to contact me to schedule an initial appointment.

I regularly receive referrals from colleagues, GPs and psychiatrists, and treatment centres.

I am affiliated with several Employee Assistance Programmes and insurance providers’ Mental Health and Wellbeing Services.

Whilst I have experience supporting clients address a wide range of issues, I have a special interest in and particular expertise around working with the following themes:

  • Addictions

  • Adverse Childhood Experiences

  • Ageing

  • Bereavement and Grief

  • Boarding School

  • Codependency

  • Depression

  • Disordered eating

  • End of Life and Mortality

  • Family life and relationships

  • Gender

  • Identity, Meaning, and Purpose

  • Post-traumatic Stress

  • Serious illness and ‘life-limiting’ diagnoses

  • Sexuality

  • Stress, Burnout, and Anxiety

  • Trauma and Loss

The above list, which appears alphabetically, is far from exhaustive.

If you are looking for support around an issue that does not appear above and think I might be able to help, please don't hesitate to get in touch.

If I am not best placed to help, I shall be pleased to think with you about other possible sources of support, including onward referral if appropriate.

I came to study psychology and psychotherapy at postgraduate level from an academic background firmly rooted in the humanities.  Throughout my studies there has been a constant interest: people, our motivations and our struggles.  My background and training enable me to draw upon insights from relational philosophy, embodied psychology, and mindfulness.  In bringing these together, I approach the challenges any of us may experience as difficulties of life and living, rather than pathologised problems.

My training is ongoing meaning that my practice continues to evolve.  I regularly participate in a range of Continuing Professional Development activities relevant to and supportive of my current practice. I seek to bring my learnings into the therapy room integrating attachment theory, neurobiology and mindfulness based approaches informed by systemic thinking and contemporary relational psychodynamic theory.  This website seeks to reflect something of my practice which is both dynamic and interactive.

Further information about my approach and practice may be found here.
