Another important aspect my role is to be available to people at any stage in their lives to share knowledge and provide guidance on death and the dying process - my primary aim is to bring dying 'home' within the community as I believe it is all of our business rather than the preserve of experts and professionals.

In this respect, I am keenly involved in various community initiatives to help demystify the business of death. I am pleased to host a monthly Death Café which is free to attend and open to all.

In addition to providing bereavement and grief support within my therapy practice, I have extensive experience of supporting individuals and their families around the important practicalities that are too often neglected until the last minute including Living Wills, Advance Decisions (known as Advance Directives in Scotland), and funeral arrangements - please do contact me for support if you are currently navigating the labyrinth of health, social care and government agencies and so on.
